Lead By Walking Around


What would be the advice you'd give a business owner who is having problems with employees?


That's the number one issue I see with the companies, I'm working with is they can't get enough employees or they don't have the right employees.


And I said the number one thing is lead by walking around.


But as an owners mentality if that owner doesn't see the value in having trusting relationships with his people then. Then what he does is going to be platitudinal every day.


And after, I gave him the example of what I did every day you know I walked around said, "Hello" to every employee. And I picked out two or three key employees throughout the dealership. I would just have a three to five minute conversation with them.


This is the best way to stay in front of your employees and build lasting relationships for the long-term.
